Otsego, MN –  The Minnesota Fraternal Order of Police (MN FOP) has endorsed Congressman Tom Emmer’s reelection campaign. The MN FOP is the largest police organization in the country and aims to “encourage fraternal, educational, charitable, and social activities among law enforcement officers and cultivate a spirit of fraternalism with mutual helpfulness among our members and the people we serve.”

Matthew Hagen, President of the MN FOP, said, “Since the day you approached the Minnesota Fraternal Order of Police seeking our endorsement as you campaigned for Congress, you’ve worked with us. You’ve promised to support our members in Washington, D.C. by working with our legislative team to pass legislation in line with the needs of law enforcement officers across this great nation whenever you can. Throughout your tenure in Congress, you’ve made good on your word.”

Upon receiving MN FOP’s endorsement, Congressman Emmer said, “Peace officers have one of the most important yet difficult jobs, and I am humbled and honored to receive the endorsement of this organization and its over 2,500 members. I will continue to do everything I can in Washington to ensure that police officers have everything they need to serve and protect their communities.”
